The Story Take One Once upon a time a Princess lived a lie, She wore the flowers in her hair, With sadness and despair. The crystal shoe was not her fit The Damsel dreamed of freedom, As luck would have it She got deserted Kingdom. She danced and laughed And kicked the earth... But wait... That doesn't sound right, There was no Princess But a charming Knight. Take Two Once upon a time a Knight daydreamed of life, Where his sublime was not denied Existence so divine... That all the Gods would sigh. With the quote on his foot He would rescue the weak, With the face on his boot The freedom he'd seek. But wait... The shoe, the quote, its all a blur... There was no charming Knight, A fair child and no Sir, That sounds almost right. Take Three There once lived a child, So pure and dear, An angel wild, With no touch of evil. The child had a dream: With each day a new beginning With the mind so bright A fairytale with winning. The child refused to stop, Until the shoes were ruined For a dream one must fight Take a deep breath and hold tight. This tale is madness Yet, one must agree, There is not but a clue... Could this child be you? *See the beautiful footwear creations by my talented friend Anna here, or follow her London-based brand Ganor Dominic on Instagram here.
